Lindian’s Kangankunde Rare Earths Project is a globally significant rare earth resource in potential for size, grade and quality.  Hosting a carbonite intrusive with outstanding grades of up to 23.7% TREO that importantly contains very low thorium. Simple metallurgy.  Tenured mining licence; close to logistical infrastructure.

Lindian’s Guinea Bauxite Projects boast over 1 Billion tonnes of high-quality bauxite resources, with excellent infrastructure in the world’s premier bauxite region.

Lindian also has interests in the Lushoto and Pare Bauxite Projects in Eastern Tanzania’s Mozambique Belt, which includes 8 highly prospective tenements covering 310km².

“The King" takes shape. Come take a fly over as our crew commences progress on construction of the site access road at our flagship “Kangankunde” rare earths project in Malawi.

This is a critical first step in the development of Stage 1 as the 5.1km access road will allow transport of major plant equipment to be delivered safely to site.


In the rare earths sector, Australia’s Lindian Resources is seeking to attract new investment partners for its Kangankunde Rare Earths Project.

The company recently awarded a $1.3 million contract to Mota-Engil to develop infrastructure and carry out civil works, advancing project timelines. With rare earth elements playing a crucial role in high-tech industries, clean energy and defense applications, this project strengthens Malawi's position in the global supply chain.

17 Mar 2025: Lindian is excited to announce the recent appointment of Teck Lim as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr Lim has over 20 years’ corporate finance and mining experience, including in rare earths and bauxite. He previously served as CFO of ASX-listed Hastings Technology Metals Ltd and most recently, he led a joint venture with Wyloo (a Tattarang company) for the Yangibana Rare Earths and Niobium Project.
